What To Expect
During our free 20 minute phone consultation we will not ask you to share your most painful moments or your life story.
Rather, it is an opportunity for you to say a brief summary of what is important to you, what you are hoping for in therapy, to learn more about our services and our style, and together we will decide if there is a fit.
Once we have decided to begin services, we will schedule an appointment (in person or virtually).
We will spend time during our first session understanding your hopes and dreams, what has been influential to who and where you are in life, and creating a plan for the therapeutic support necessary to be inside the life you want.
We spend time to understand your hopes, dreams, and desires.
We work to create a space which feels secure and where you are able to be seen.
We tap into the power of visualization through utilizing the medium(s) (verbal, written, visual depiction) of your preference.
We continuously create tools and strategies which allow you to tolerate and feel emotions rather than try to manage and move away from them.
With curiosity and compassion we explore and honor the ways your body and mind have been working to protect you. We elicit this wisdom to understand what barriers exist and what is needed for your best life.
Using our collective wisdom, talents, and expertise we explore what works best for you, and you walk away with tangible tools and strategies focused on creating calm, joy, and balance.
As we recognize thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and ways of life which are no longer serving you, we will release and replace them with ones which align with your vision and goals.
With an eclectic therapeutic approach, we will work to restore your body’s natural ability heal and flourish.
You will feel and notice the changes within your body, your mind, your relationships, your engagement with the world around you.
Every step of the way we focus on stepping further into your vision, into the healthiest and grandest version of you. We goal plan with the completion of services in mind.
Regardless of how short or long our work together is, we acknowledge and celebrate the steps you take along the entire journey!
